Our ministry began at an early age, when we were all apart of The Church of Pentecost Canada- McKeown District children’s choir, Heavenly Jewels. It was led by our mentor, Samuel Acquah, from there we discovered our God given talent. As part of our testimony, in growing up there was a disconnect between our service to God, and our worship. As many can relate, there was a void in our hearts in which we desired to fill. But contrary to Gods word, we looked to the world for satisfaction. We were the people that could honestly say “been there, done that.” As individuals, we began to notice that as much as we looked to the world to fill our void, there was never a true inner peace. The void and disconnect that we were feeling was our desire and thirst for God. Due to our early foundation in the singing ministry, we were able to revive our thirst and zeal for God. It was then decided by our group member Sandra Oteng to come together as one to utilize our gifts for the glory of God. Higher Faith Ministry officially began August 18, 2012.
